No Cut? $80 no mention of needing a resister Ultra Bright?

The advertisement for this product states No CUT. This means no cutting on the body of your bike but you will need to cut your electrical plug off of your stock turn signal to install the protons. Manufacture states that the turn signals are internally balanced for correct blink speed regardless of load, this is true but after installing the protons the rear turn signals and turn signal indicator will flash at a higher rate of speed than normal. You will need to purchase two 20 watt 8ohm resisters one for each side (connected across the - ground and +hot wire of the turn signal, the running light will not need a resister) and connect them to the protons to correct this problem. The advertisement also states Ultra Bright, in the real world this mean the turn signals are about 75% as bright as the stock turn signals (yes the stock lights are brighter). The turn signals look great installed, but I wish the manufacture would have mention on their ad about the needing resisters and needing to cut the stock turn signal connections off , I did this install on my only day off "Sunday" , had the bike all taken apart and was unable to get the correct resisters needed to complete the job . If you look around there are a lot of flush mount turn signal kits out there for only $10-$15 shipped but they don't have running lights as the protons do and my 08 R6 was wired for running lights and I wanted to keep them, also the protons have 3 different flashes available , Standard , Fade and strobe , I ended up using Fade . In the end I am content with the protons, if you don't give a hoot about havening running lights or adjustable flashes; I would look into the $10-$15 flush mount kits.
