Best motion sensor I've every found yet!

Replaced an old sensor on my garage, and this has true 180 sensor to driveway detetection. Even detects slow moving cats that are trying to creep past without setting off the lights. Very easy to install, I have a sensor ONLY installed that triggers the garage soffet lights and walkway lights. I highly recommend to anyone that is replacing an existing sensor or needs to install a new motion detector. I also noticed that this sensor is not affected by blowing winds and rain like the old sensor. During a recent rain and 30 mph winds it only went on once when a large black pastic trash bag blew up the drive way. ALso does not seem to be sensitive to weather conditions that would make my old sensor come on and go off for long period of time.Update July 2011 - Ok have lived with it a several months and I still love it - great sensor and light - they only pain is that it is so sensitive that the neighbor cats can't seem to find a way to sneak past it (lights go on). We have a lot of windy weather and my old light would go on and off for hours - this light does not seem to be affected by such problems. If you have any trees that blow around inside the detection pattern it will of course come on (detected motion).

Best yet!

It is now Feb 24th 2011 and it's still working no problems!! Originally I bought a cheapy-$20- at Lowe's and it was terrible. So i bought one of these and it worked fine until I was cleaning the house and shot it with a pretty strong spray of water. Sadly it stopped working so I bought this one and it's great! Just don't spray it with the water hose.

You get what you pay for

Although a bit largish looking, the function of this sensor is great.. It has a downward pointing sensor as well as the forward look. This is great as I use it on a patio where you come out from an Arcadia door so the "down look" is great. Setup went fast and straight forward with controls that are easy to access. (not always the case I found out).I bought RAB to replace a cheaper unit I had bought at Mendards.. The cheaper unit just did not work at all like I expected and the RAB unit does.. Very nice item..

Excellent Product!

We now have three of these around our home and couldn't be more happy. They cost more than others, though my electrician told us they are the best on the market and full of the best technology. The 360 degrees motion sensor is incredible, as even if someone tries to walk under my garage leaning against the garage doors under and behind the light, the sensor is triggered. I've also installed LED bulbs purchased at Costco, because they're more efficient, put out more light, and last longer than regular bulbs.

The Best Motion Detector Floodlights

I purchased this and had it installed above my garage doors in an unprotected location a few days before Superstorm Sandy hit here at the Jersey shore. I had purchased another brand of floodlights (LED) but needed something with more light and a better, longer range with durability as well. This Stealth surely fit the bill. I put the other fixture above a patio door where it was protected.I gave this fixture five stars, but if there was a 4 and a half, I would take a half point off, simply because I don't believe it is "bronze" in color. That has nothing to do with quality in any way, however. To me bronze is a metallic medium brown color, but this one is nearly black. It looks black from the driveway if you look up at it. It really is a very dark brown with no metallic shine, but then again, it is as pictured. It is pictured very dark in color. It is also available in white, but from what I saw, it was about 20.00 more in the white when I was purchasing, and I do have bronze regular light fixtures on the garage (lighter in color, of course), though white is more neutral against the siding....I am not unhappy in the least. It is the best. It is quite high up and it works great, scanning for motion at night and immediately turning on even if you walk out the garage door directly under it, and it goes on when there is motion at the end of the driveway. It is adjustable for motion, etc., lights can be pointed out where you want them, and it is exactly what we wanted; working great and very strongly built. It faced into the wind during Superstorm "Sandy" and it never budged here at the Jersey shore. It is a great fixture, heavier than any I have every owned before and nicely designed. I recommend this Super Stealth very highly.**Re: Excellent Warranty I got around to finally activating the warranty and I found this pleasant surprise: Your STL360 will be replaced or repaired, at our option, if it proves to be defective in workmanship or materials within 10 years from the date of original purchase. (You return the product shipping prepaid and insured with sales receipt and problem description.)

Great So Far

Works much better than the Heather Zenith lights that I replaced. No false alarms and they have lasted more than a month! They put out good light with standard spotlight bulbs. I am dinging the review though. RAB advertises "made in USA" all over their website, but this fixture has "made in Malaysia" all over it. I feel kind of deceived...

The Bugs Like This Windshield

Although not specifically designed for the 2005-2006 Honda Big Ruckus, this windshield fits perfectly and is the right height and the right transparent color. Installation instructions not very helpful but I have another of these on my other scooter to view from and it isn't too hard to figure it out. Excellent quality. Shipping and handling was reasonable. Item arrived timely. The company has actual live person telephone support. I highly recommend this scooter windshield. zoz

Quality and Design....the Best!

Excellent quality light. Delivered within a week and very well packaged. Electricianwho installed the light said these are the best quality sensor lights and was installedquite easily where I had a flood light. Has been operating flawlessly so far....thoughonly installed a week ago. The lights are much bigger than the one I had installedprobably 4 years ago. Would prefer the size of the unit somewhere in between the two.These lights are quite big. I got the bronze which is very dark which works with my whitehouse with black shutters.

Great looking and performing light

Hired professional electrician for the install. Lights look great and work as advertised. Kudos to the company for including all the hardware needed for installation and a well-written installation booklet. It includes many useful tips.Especially pleased with the fine-tune capability of the sensor. I am geeky by nature, so really enjoyed taking the extra time to systematically test the sensor's range and angle of view. Both are exactly as advertised. Also confirmed the double-look-down capability, which detects things just in front of and directly below the unit.Another nice feature is if you set the unit to nighttime operation only, and it's daytime, a small red LED on the face will light whenever it detects motion. This is handy to verify the unit is still working correctly without having to switch the unit to daytime operation.Overall, very pleased with the purchase.Update: 03-29-2012-------------------Had this unit a little over a year; still running strong. Continues to work as advertised and it is exposed to the elements including snow.

Fits perfect on my bike and is sturdy and tight. Installing it was easy. It's been on my bike for about 3 months now and I've had no problems. Cleaning the bottom part that fits up against the frame behind the turn signals is a bit of a pain though, as it's hard to get to. Overall it's a good product.

Great Deal, Great Tricycle

My 2 1/2-year old was so excited when he received this tricycle. Assembly wasn't too difficult & was complete in less than 10 minutes. My son is tall for his age, so he can reach the pedals just fine when the seat is on the highest setting. However, he is so used to using his feet/legs to push himself on these types of toys, that he doesn't yet understand the concept of the pedals & doesn't want to be shown. I'm sure that will come with time. For now, he's enjoying it just the way that he wants to, and that is fine by us. The only down-side (that doesn't change my rating) is that his feet sometimes bump into the back wheels while he pushes himself. This of course will be remedied once he figures out the pedals.Like the other reviewers, I'd say this trike would probably be more appropriate for a 3- or 4-year old. It is sturdy and well weighted, but might be a little too big for the lower end of the recommended age of range 2-5 years. The adjustable feature of the seat will be handy over time, and the price is great when compared to similar products.

Great First Bike

Bought this for our three year old grandson. His father said he loves it! He is able to manuever it and ride without any difficulty. The seat makes it easy to adjust to his size and as he grows. I would recommend this to and "new" drivers!

Super torque starter!

This starter fit right on my old 74' Ironhead. The factory Prestolite was VERY tired and slow it would barely turn the engine over anymore. Not a problem for the All Balls! It truly is All Balls it's almost twice the power of the Prestolite. It had no trouble turning the engine over first crank. It is a snug fit with not much room for your hands. It's a real booger to get back off if you need to. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again! Powersport Superstore by far had the best price and thier service ROCKS! If you need a new starter All Balls is the way to go and it's actually made in the USA.

My first detector - I'm hooked!

I bought this detector at Cabelas last weekend (for $400) and was a little intimidated with the manual and all the options at first. I finally did the "demo" in the manual and tested it with some coins and nails. It really is very easy to figure out once you try it. I went out that same night to a local park and found 8 coins with little trouble. Once you find that first coin, you'll be hooked.This detector had a really nice feel of quality right out of the box. Right on the money

Well when I first received my detector I had the setting way to high,so it was a little jumpy? It didn't Identify the coins properly. So when I set the Search to 3" instead of 6". Holy smokes !! It was on the money! These units are super powerful. All you need is the set it on 3" and it will easily go 6". I found alot of quarter, pennies and dimes. Nothing to old , but it works great:)

I absolutely adore this windscreen. I have a Suzuki S83 and had a manufacturer windshield. However I've been customizing the bike and the large bulky windshield wasn't exactly part of my vision for a bobbed cruiser. After a lot of Web surfing and reading customer reviews, I found this windscreen. Some of the other reviews (outside of Amazon) were mixed. Some said they loved it and others said they couldn't discern it's impact. Well I bought it and installed it on my bike. It does exactly what it said it would do - which is keep air from hitting me in the chest at high speeds, thus avoiding the feeling of holding on for dear life above 60 MPH. As you may expect wind will still hit your shoulders and head but you don't have to do 'pull ups' to stay on the bike. Besides I wouldn't want to eliminate wind on the head or shoulders (if I wanted that I'd have kept the big bulky windshield - or I'd just stay in my car). To maximize wind protection simply adjust the height of the screen. And on top of it's performance, it just makes the bike look even more amazing. The perfect complement to the Mustang seat, Kuryakyn handlebars and foot pegs, and a few other items. And now a windscreen that adds to, and does not detracts from, the cool profile.The only difficulty I had was with the installation. It was indeed simple but it took longer than expected and the gasket table is a bit confusing. You have to measure your fork's diameters in millimeters but the manufacturer then provides the gasket thickness measurement in inches. Plus I think the conversion table is a bit off. However other than that, it's a wonderful addition to my bike that greatly adds to the bike's "cool factor!"

Looks great, solid quality, does the job

For those who aren't familiar with them, flyscreens are designed to deflect air away from the rider's chest while preserving the feel of the wind in your face and the clean good looks of your bike. Reduced wind blast means slightly faster speed, better gas mileage and less fatigue, allowing longer, more enjoyable rides. A flyscreen is NOT meant to keep wind off the head, shoulders or hands. Above 60 mph the wind is still going to hammer those areas, so a flyscreen isn't what you want for cruising at highway speeds over long distances. The sweet spot for this type of screen is a typical warm-weather day ride where you'll occasionally wind it out for 20 or 25 miles at 60-75 mph.I was pretty skeptical that a windshield barely the size of a dinner plate could have any effect at all, and at city speeds it doesn't. But on the open highway it reduces wind resistance just enough to relieve the feeling of "hanging on" at high speed. The materials, workmanship and finish are first-rate and the mounting hardware is solid. There's no quick-release mechanism, so once it's on it stays on. It's so small you almost have to look right at it to notice it, so it blends in naturally with your bike's profile. Mounting is easy and the instructions are fairly simple and clear, but you may want to have someone help you make the final adjustments while you sit on the bike. The height and angle are important. If you find the screen isn't doing enough, place it higher on the forks and/or rake it forward until you get the maximum effect for your height. Looks great, works fine and doesn't cost much -- what else can you ask for?
