These peanuts are marked to be priced 2/$1.00 however Amazon is selling them 108 for $56.47. That's more then 50 cents a pack and you are buying in bulk! Whats up with that Amazon? You would get a better deal going to your local gas station...

Good but could be better (firmware update, please)

I bought this to eliminate my house land line. Once the land line was shut off (number transferred to another cell phone, always positioned next to the XLNK), I ran the phone cord from the wall to the XLNK. Then, all the phones in the house (wired or wireless) called out and answered the cell phone. The kitchen phone has an answering machine, and that answering machine picks up - not the cell phone voicemail. (which is the way we wanted it).Here's the problem. Calling out from a house phone to the bank or some other number that requires additional numbers to be dialed after you connect. You know, 2 for English, that kind of thing. The additional numbers dialed on any of the house phones do not "take" - I have to run over to the connected cell phone and press them in there to get them to work. I contacted the manufacturer, and they knew about the problem, but had no solution.Be sure to get the model that works both with and without a land line - If we add a security system, we'll have to get a land line again, and I'd still like it to work. The $10 cheaper model only works WITHOUT a live land line.

Makes Cell Phones Work Like Land Lines - With Some Flaws

Grace Digital XLink Bluetooth Device comes in two versions: ITC-BTTN with which you can use a land line in addition to Bluetooth cell phone; and ITC-BT whcih pairs with only Bluetooth cell phones and has no provision for land line.They both can make cell phones work just like land lines. Once your Bluetooth cell phone is paired to Xlink, your other phones work just like land line handsets and you can use your cell phones in multiple rooms with multiple cordless handsets. You can pair up to 3 cell phones with each Xlink unit; and one land line in addition on BTTN. Xlink finds a new use for old landline handsets.Although it works, Xlink is not flawless. Once your cell phone is paired, you cannot receive the call on cell phone itself because you do not hear the audio, you have to pick up the call on other non-cell paired handset; but there are no audio problems with outgoing calls from cellular handset.There is also a second or two delay in hearing sound on incoming and outgoing calls. Cell phone pairing does not take place automatically each time after the initial pairing. Caller ID does not show up on the cordless handsets although it shows whether the call is on cell phone or land line.My original purpose in ordering this unit was to see if I can replace 3 business land lines with 3 cheaper cell phone lines but after using it for a month I am not sure if it works like good old reliable land lines. There are other new Bluetooth cordless units that pair with cell phones but as of November 2008, Xlink is the only device of its kind that lets you use your old land line handsets with cell phone.

Working great

Working great with my two cell phones and land line. Using it to eliminate my land line. It is doing all that it says it can, so far. Easy to update the filmware, via computer interface. It does not come with the USB cable, but a standard one works. Some calls have some echoing, but not sure if this is the xlink, or the connection. It rings only the phone it is connected to, which may be due to the wiring in my house. I resolved this by getting a 4 extention 5.8 ghz wireless phone system, which works very good with it. Pluged into the base, it will ring all the other extentions. It also allows you to access all your cell phone features via the home extention. The higher ghz keeps it from interfering with the Bluetooth signal whith is in the 2 ghz range. Would highly recommend considering the adaptations I mentioned here.

I love the Macross series, when I first saw this it was 'must have' because I remember it from my childhood days. Spaceship, highly detailed, made with metallic parts as well and transforms. My only surprize was it size, compared with it's plastic blue and white predisesor 15 years ago it was smaller than I expected.

The most detailed and awesome looking Old Snake figure you can get!

I recently purchased the Metal Gear Solid 3 Big Boss RAH Medicom Zombie Face paint figure and I was very impressed to say the least. When I saw that they also had made an Old Snake figure I pretty much had to have it being MGS4 is my second favorite game in the series. There is actually two versions of this figure. One is an Olive drab suit with a tan vest and the other one (which I have) is the regular Dark blue suit with the black vest.When I opened him up, my jaw pretty much almost dropped. Just like the Big Boss figures, the Old Snake figure is absolutely amazing looking. The detail is spot on. His tactical vest is made out of actual vest like material and has little plastic and metal clips on it as well. The face and Solid Eye look exactly like they do in the game. The thing that most impressed me was the suit itself. It's just insane! It's made out of a vinyl like material and covers his entire body just like in the game.You would think that with him having this suit that he isn't posable, well thats actually not true at all. Now the suit does limit posability but you can still bend his arms and his legs. If your patient you can actually get him into some cool looking poses, you just don't have as many options when compared to the Big Boss figures. But it's a small sacrifice to make to give him a very accurate and detailed Octocamo suit.Unlike the Big Boss figures he does not have interchangable and detachable hands. The hands are rubber and attatched the suit but they are bendable incase you need to move his hands a little bit when doing poses. He comes with a CQC stun knife, his signature gun which is the custom M14 (it has the under barrel gernade launcher attatchment, flashlight, foregrip and holo sight on it), and what appears to be a Desert Eagle pistol with a flashlight attatchment. He also has a holster that is attatched to his vest were you can put the pistol as well if you don't want him holding it. And on his back he has a sheath you can put the CQC knife in as well.The detail on his M14 is amazing as well, it looks exactly like it does in the game. The holosight has clear plastic on it and the magazine can actually be removed from the gun as well. The one downside with his weapons is the stun knife. It's very thin. He pretty much cannot hold it in his hand unless you wrap some wire tape around the handle, that works pretty good. What I actually do is have him hold the M14 and and I slip the stun knife in the same hand he holds the foregrip and it looks pretty good that way. But the knife is also very detailed and the point of the knife is actually kind of sharp. One other downside, I might add, is that this figure is definitaly expensive. I won mine off of a bid an Ebay for $150 but generally this figure goes for $300-$400 now.Over all though besides the price and limited posability, if you have some extra money and are an MGS fan or someone who collects 1/6 scale figures I highly reccomend getting one of these Old Snake figures. Medicom definitaly makes the best and most detailed MGS Figures I have ever seen and if they ever release more for future MGS games I will bet getting those as well.

great product!

These are nice and thick, have a nice tint to them and easy to install. Since my car is so new the window seals are still very tight so it took a little bit to get the windows to go up with them installed, but That just means it has a nice tight seal. after a day with the windows rolled up sitting in the hot sun they, roll up nice and tight! and shipping was FAST! i got them the next day and i didn't even pay for shipping. I chose the slowest shipping available!

We are orginally from the Midwest and have grown up with Calumet. In the Southwest after over 20 years it is now impossible to get here. We tried the famous baking soda company brand and knew we trust them and it has no Aluminum! Okay my cake fell! (Been baking this cake for 30 years) So I tried a famous Southern brand it worked just okay but the rise still was not normal. So I ordered a case before I started believing I could no longer bake. Cake baked up perfectly. 24 cans is a lot to order so all my friends and neighors will never have to worry about their cakes falling.

Calumet Baking Powder is best

I have used Calumet Baking Powder all my life, along with my mother before me. It is the only baking powder that works correctly in backing. It is because of the stabilizer. For some crazy reason, the grocery stores are no longer carrying Calumet, so I've had to try all the others. They all foam up and cause the rising to fail. The consistency of the baked goods is not right with them. I'm so happy I can get Calumet from Amazon. I thought I would have to give up baking.

Davis Vantage Pro 2 PLUS AWESOME

The BEST DAVIS has to offer to date....The Vantage Pro2 PLUS is a great unit and for any weather hobbyist this home PWS (personal weather station) is in the professional category. I have had mine for two months and love it plus the data you send is recorded by NOAA, MESO and all the rest and the installation is very well explained step by step.. It is wireless and flawless, the wireless capabilities I think is 1,000 feet but with Davis you can purchase relay stations to put your station farther away from where the console is indoors that you receive your signal from. The anemometer (wind meter) has a 40' cable on it so you can put your weather station on a pole but mount the anemometer up to 40' away the ISS (the weather station body). The Plus2 comes with UV and Solar Radiation sensors and it is also fan aspirated and what that means is it has a low cfm fan inside to cool the interior so an accurate ambient temperature is read, this is the most accurate outdoor temp reading that can be done thanks to that little fan moving air very slowly through the interior of the ISS-weather station. Maintenance is low, you may have to open it up once or twice a year to clean the inside and remove dust or such but opening it up is very easy to clean.The other things you will need when you purchase this unit is a mounting pole which come in kit form or you can fabricate. In the ground would be nothing more than a steel or galvanized pole set in concrete. Davis makes a universal galvanized tripod roof mount and it is very good, I own that but haven't installed it. I used an existing yard pole and took a regular satellite TV dish mount pole for an installation that would allow you to mount your satellite dish to an existing pole at your home, it works great for this purpose. If you live in SNO country then you will need the rain collector heater to melt snow fall to get the actual water content, you may purchase this at a later date if this weather station is tipping the budget in the initial purchase of the station itself.You will also need to figure out what software you like to use, I like the WeatherLink I.P. as it directly uploads via a Cat 5 cable to your wired/wireless router/DSL modem, that is all automatic on the uploads and the Davis console for this unit is house current powered with a DC adapter PLUS it also has battery back up, 3 size C batteries...This is a professional weather station but do not be overwhelmed by that.. Davis offers excellent support and the instructions that come with their products are pretty much idiot proof meaning easy. Very accurate weather station and extremely well built

I've owned Davis weather instruments for the past 20 years based on their solid reputation. This particular model has exceeded my expectations in every way. It provides accurate readings for all of the important weather parameters and is extremely durable to boot. I have it securely mounted on a long pole and tripod on my roof. The long pole is necessary, in that wind direction and speed are only accurate if the anemometer is mounted well above the roof-line and trees. Despite the extraordinary winds of hurricane Sandy, my Davis weather station held its own and after inspecting it today, it's still in perfect condition. My previous weather station wasn't wireless like this one is. The wireless capability is worth its weight in gold, as it completely eliminates the need for running wires from the weather station console to the external set-up. This is a weather enthusiasts dream come true, particular if you live in an area that sees a lot of weather extremes. It's difficult to get any work done on a stormy day, as looking out the window and monitoring conditions on the Davis console keeps me preoccupied for hours. This is definitely a 5 star product from a 5 star manufacturer.

Before this I had a Oregon Scientific. I will never go back again. The Davis 6163 Vantage Pro2 Solar is a awsome piece of hardware. I would suggest this unit for anyone interested in weather. It is well made and work perfectly. I would suggest getting weatherlink IP and the Envoy so you can connect it to Weatherlink IP, CWOP and WeatherUnderground. You will need a computer or dedicated weather logger and other software if you want to connect it up to some of the other upload sources. I would (and do) recommend any Davis product to my friends!!

The Harrisville Designs Easy Weaver is a rigid heddle table loom that offers a great way for children and adults alike to discover the basic techniques of real tapestry weaving and to produce a beautiful woven tapestry that they can be proud of. Weaving is a quiet activity that encourages concentration and gives them a sense of accomplishment as they create their own designs. Weaving also helps children understand spatial relationships while developing fine motor control and building self confidence.

This kit includes everything needed to create a surprising variety of woven pieces such as a scarf, table runner, doll blanket or palcemats! Included are an 18" long x 18" wide by 6 1/2" tall loom, enough tartan plaid 100% wool yarn to weave 3 1/2 yards of fabric approximately 15" wide, 2 16" wooden stick shuttles, and complete illustrated instructions. Made in the USA.

Weak Weaver

Design vs Dollars; dollars wins again. The choice between good design and construction versus costs is a challenge for most people who have their eye on the bottom line. Here too someone decided they should cut corners on the construction in order to keep the cost down. If it's really a choice of a few dollars why not make up the difference in quantity, sell more of them by building in quality. Then this review would have been raving.The weaver is still cool for most pre-teens and teens, maybe even younger. Just using it gives you an elementary understanding of weaving and you can't help but wonder how large textile manufacturers do it on larger scales. But like I started out saying, they cut one of the most critical corners in any design. A single point failure in the ratchet gear mechanism. It doesn't engage the ratchet completely thus it pops out and doesn't hold the fabric in place. I'm handy so replacing the gear mechanism is not too difficult but something so simple shouldn't be the failure of the entire toy. But it is.

Cheap and better than a cardboard loom!

So I bought this for myself in order to make cloth as part of tote bags that I gave a presents. I would consider myself an adult :-P and I love weaving on this. The tension thing is a little wonky, but I just retighten it as needed. It's a pain to rethread (which I guess is why they sale refills). The wool yarn is attached to the loom via velcro, which means that you can't use other fiber types.

Dissapointed

This product does not function correctly. The brakes on the weft rollers do not properly hold the tension. Overall, I am dissapointed with the product comparing the cost to the functionality.

The Reference Standard in Private Weather Stations!

The Davis VP2 is regarded by weatherbuffs as the defacto standard in the industry. It provides the best feature/performance and price ratio on the market today.I purchased the version right below this one back in January of 2009 because at the time I couldn't afford the price of the PLUS series. Mine has everything this one does except for the 24 hour FARS. I now regret that I didn't spend the extra money for this one cause you can not add the 24 FARS to the other VP2 models later. Within a month after I set up my station, it became clear that I was going to need to have the FARS system to get accurate daytime temps. The standard radiation shield just isn't good enough to prevent solar heating in the summer.My only choice was to purchase the Daytime FARS Kit which runs on solar power but does not have the battery option for nighttime operation. This works 75% as well as the 24 hour version, but when you add the $150.00 cost of this FARS to what I spent on my VP2, I was less than $200.00 away from the price of this model!Ambient Weather is a great dealer and I suggest visiting their web site for the lowest price they offer. I am not sure if the price listed here is the best you can do from them.In terms of the VP2 itself... I could not be happier with the unit's accuracy, durability and performance. People who choose something cheaper very often end up with a VP2 later, and then you have ended up spending more than buying the best from the start!It is no wonder why the Davis Vantage Pro 2 is the #1 choice of amateur weather buffs all over the world! :)

High quality but with a couple of flaws

The many glowing reviews of the Vantage Pro-2 are accurate and I highly recommend this unit over any of the competitor's products. With that said, there are two issues you should fully understand before plunking down your hard-earned cash for this. First, the rain gauge is "approximate" at best. The tipping bucket technology is considerably less accurate than the standard rain gauge when precipitation rates are high, such as in thunderstorms or the like. Second, it's far too easy for the rain gauge bucket to get plugged up with crud (leaves in the fall, tree spinners in the spring, spiders, etc).If you're serious about measuring preciptation grab yourself a $30 plastic CoCoRaHS-approved rain gauge. They're at roughly the same accuracy as used by the National Weather Service. The only thing is, you need to empty them out manually and they're just a funnel-and-cylinder, not electronic. This plastic unit's PITA factor outweighs the inaccuracy of the Davis bucket in my mind.Another issue is the HORRIBLE Davis Weather Link software. Their proprietary hardware dongle connects to your PC as a serial device, with a serial-to-USB converter than makes a royal mess of things if you're not careful. The interface is straight out of DOS, too. It's really BAD, and configuring third party software like Cumulus with it isn't a job for the timid.

So far reliable, worked out of the box and the instructions were easily understood.If you're looking to upload to the Internet: Wunderground CWOP etc, Make sure you include the Weatherlink software hardware

Pretty Darn Good Stuff

This is pretty much the only kind of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese I eat. I loved them all as a kid, but not so much anymore. The Three Cheese has a good taste. Every now and then you'll get a pack that tastes "off," but I suppose that's what happens when you have a mix of cheeses? Anyway, this is what I eat when I can't think of anything else I'd rather eat.Oh, and I doctor mine a bit. Try adding some garlic powder, salt, and pepper into the water. Most of the spice boils out and gets dumped with the water, but it makes a big difference, taste-wise.

Best mac and cheese available

I am a pretty picky mac and cheese consumer. I also have very picky children. We love the flavor that the three cheese offers, plus the shells tend to be a little thicker and they don't over cook as easily as the regular macaroni shape.My favorite thing about ordering this from Amazon is that the price is amazing. I also love that I don't waste money by going to the store and buying other things I don't need. I love that it ships straight to my door.

(Cheese) Diamond in the Rough

Ordered on May 23 with super saver shipping and received it on June 22. Was it worth the 30+ day wait? Of course!$32.66 for 24 boxes = $1.36/boxThe price is great, especially for online since you CANNOT find this in stores anymore. I live in a huge city and cannot find this in Target or any supermarkets. The Kraft product locator on the Kraft website was incorrect about it being stocked in stores in my area. AMAZON to the rescue, as usual. It seems this delicacy is nearly extinct which is sad because it's the only Kraft macaroni worthy of your taste-buds.All the other Kraft mac & cheese makes me think of being an indiscriminate kid that will eat any funny tube-style pasta with bright orange manufactured cheese; perhaps kids 'are' the target market. Yes, THREE CHEESE is Kraft macaroni in a box, but it's amazing. The cheese just tastes good, not heavy or fake, and the shells are perfect size. Add some oregano, red pepper, or even sausage and you've got yourself a tasty yet inexpensive meal.Milk and butter sold separately.
