Schecter C1-FR

The Schecter C1-FR is an amazing guitar as well as an amazing deal. I was so excited when it arrived I ripped open the box and played it through a 65 watt Kustom using heavy tones. The guitar has amazing sustain and a great full sound to it and unlike some reviews it does have a great clean tone as far as an active guitar goes. The neck is perfect for shredding as well as sweeping and doing all kinds of insane guitar riffs. The liscensed Floyd Rose is great as well, not many liscensed tremelos are any good, this one given some break in time, works great. However the stock strings should be replaced after opening, my reasoning for this is because barely moving the tremelo on the first day being as careful as I could the bottom E string had slipped out of place secondly, in my opinion, D'Addarios are not good for Floyd Rose (I could be wrong). After replacing the strings with a light gauge set of ghs boomers I was back in buisness. And I might add that if your a metal player such as i, you do yourself good to give time for your tensioning springs in the back break in before you attempt to do Dimebag squeals or hardcore bar dumps (this is with any new guitar). This is my first brand new guitar and suggest to anyone thinking about buying this guitar that you take very good care of it because its worth every d*mn penny you pay for it. Awesome guitar.

No doubt, she looked like she could use a good meal. "Look, I had a case just like this earlier this year, lasted a couple a months... and I got about 60 meals out of it - so I know what I'm talkin' about." "Tell me," she whimpered. I didn't hesitate. "Look kid, I'm gonna give you this advice for nothin' and it's 5 star as far as I'm concerned." I tore off a sheet from a pad of paper and wrote - go to Amazon.com, type in "Kraft Family Macaroni and Cheese" in the search box, press go, click on the Mac & Cheese icon that comes up, and do what it tells ya. She stood up, leaned over the desk and planted one on me. "Thank you," she said. "Go on get outta here; I'm busy." Then she was gone. They've solved the making-two-boxes at a time dilemma. I only wish I could find them in the supermarket. Wait for an Amazon grocery special, and you're practically getting 24 meals for nothing! Also a really great idea for donating to your local shelter or pantry.

It's just a bigger box

But it's perfect for casseroles which call specifically for this Macaroni and Cheese as one of the ingredients.People now have to purchase less of the product. Instead of a cluttered countertop and/or having to double the recipe SEVERAL times over, they can just focus on cooking it up.

great expections

Let's keep it simple. My lamp arrived with a broken shade. It actually took me a day or two to figure that out. I thought it was me attaching the shade crooked. I had thrown away all packaging a was going to just purchase a new shade in the stores here. Not going well at all. Couldn't find one to fit. Finally I contacted Amazon (my favorite people) just to tell of my issue not even looking for help since I couldn't return lamp in original box.I just wanted to be heard. A few days ago I received a brand new lamp shade. There are other issues with this lamp,the stem isn't straight which gives the shade a slightly lop-sided appearance and the bottom is supposed to be wood. Hmmm ,not too sure. There are chips where metal and wood(?) meet. Fine black marker will hide that. So ,in saying all of this I must say that nothing is 100% perfect. If you look closely enough you"ll find imperfections. Just wish someone would take a look at what they are shipping. saves time and money. I still like the looks of this lamp.Wish I had two . Not willing to risk another disappointment.

Sexy Sleek Nova Lamp!

Wow, What a ridiculous value. Amazon had this lamp on sale for $100 off. After receiving it I would have paid $300 for it. The fit, finish and quality are amazing. Its actually much larger then it appears in the photograph. Its also very heavy which im also very pleased about. You would have to back into it with a car to knock it over (at least thats what it feels like ;-)) The dual bulbs and switches is a nice feature as well.I strongly recommend to anyone on the fence about buying this lamp to just do it! You will not be disappointed.

These vent visor's fit perfect in-channel and took all of 5 minutes to install. just what we wanted. Had trouble with the first order - we did not accept the package when delivered since it was opened. Product was sent back and replaced within days. Would not hesitate to order from Amazon again.

The best looking and value out there!

This is my second set of EGR in-channel slimlines, the first went with my vehicle when I sold it. They look awesome and surprisingly, they're not made in China, but Australia! I'd rather buy Australian any day. The WeatherTechs are simply too expensive for molded plastic, so the EGR's win out. Very nice styling and rugged design. I disagree with the method in which the front pieces are installed. They recommend placing the nose of the piece in first, however I find that placing the rear-end first and then bringing the nose into place is much easier. Also, I don't find them noisy as mentioned by the other poster. Bottom line is these are the best value window visors on the market.

It was a hit!

The Lego Green Grocer was a hit with my 12 year old son. The box said for ages 16+, but he had no trouble assembling it on his own. He enjoys constructing the buildings and this one was a hit. He took 3 days to put it together, following the guide books, one level for each day. There is a step-by-step guide book for each level and it was nice that the 2,000+ pieces were divided by levels. He (and I) were fascinated by all the details that were included in the set--very creative. He would love the other sets that could be set up alongside the Grocer.

A Complete Lego Set

I splurged on this Lego set and couldn't make myself wait for Christmas to put it together. In all, it took about four or five hours to put together - the set is over 1,600 pieces. There are three stories to the building. The first story is the grocery store, complete with cash register, vegetables and fruits (nice effects), and a refrigerated section. The second story is an apartment with a fireplace and stairs. The third story is a combination apartment/terrace. There is a grandfather clock and old-style heater by the window. The terrace has a grill and furniture.Other nice effects in the set include a covey underneath the stairs for a mouse to hide in, and a set of mailboxes. Also, the first floor is covered in smooth tiles, giving it a nice texture and look. The mini-figures included in the set are pretty standard.I prefer this type of set to the Creator sets, because it is built to scale for mini-figure interaction. The building itself is beautiful - my children saw it on the table in the morning and stopped to admire it (before asking to play with it). I would recommend this set to any adult aficionado of Lego's. I had a blast putting it together and displaying it.

Creative use of standard pieces

Great set and very fun to build. The "removable" floors are a key element to letting the kids really play with the set. One additional feature that I appreciate is the fact that many decorative elements are created by combining standard pieces in an unusual way---the railing on the roof deck, for example, is made out of "skeleton legs" and "hatchets." The kids really got a kick out of this one. A challenging build with a lot of parts though, take your time!

Nice Addition

These window visors work very well, no wind whistling while driving. I had to improvise on the installation slightly but they fit well and the low profile looks good (doesn't stick out like others). The price jumped up just after I bought these, almost $25 so the price was good when I bought them (3/2008). These fit my 2007 Tundra Double Cab great and I'm very happy I finally got them. Shop around not the best price at almost $70 now. EGR has good stuff.

Before you buy.....

This is an excellent sleep foundation DESIGN. I purchased 5 years ago for my own bedroom and this week purchased again for my guest room. I have loved it. JUST LOVED IT!However, the quality, as usual with many products, has been down graded and price is up. The screw on legs have not changed and are definitely worth it. I would recommend the 10" legs, unless you like the bed really low. Much better than an iron frame. The construction - smaller wood used all around. Smaller side boards do not improve the look either. Frame is at least partially NAILED not screwed. However it appears to be solid and the frame was GLUED-which should eliminate concern. It now comes in 6 pieces not 2. Really cheap. doesn't look nice. I will fix by padding and covering with fabric (after assembled).I found the bolts to put together.I am disappointed with it, but because I can not seem to find another supplier, I will keep.UPDATE - more disappointment. the slats are no longer flush with the top of the foundation, but protrude 2 inches above. Now the "look" is really compromised. I will have to build a 1" X 2" rail and attach to the top of the plate to hit this unsightly mess. I added pictures to the item. See them to further explain what I mean

An Excellent Addition When You Purchase Your Flo-beds Latex Mattress ...

After six months of researching latex mattresses and retailers, we purchased a king-sized Flo-beds vZone Mattress. Initially, I planned to save money and not purchase a slat foundation with the mattress as the total purchase is not inexpensive.Although I had been assured our conventional box springs would work with the mattress, further research convinced me that a slat foundation was preferable and, perhaps, necessary. Various reviews and articles indicated that not using a slat foundation could cause sagging of the latex mattress. Further, there was some information that indicated the latex mattress could mildew/mold without proper circulation of air around the mattress.I decided to purchase the "Flo-Beds Euro Slat Foundation" along with their mattress and am pleased with that decision. The foundation is easy to assemble and requires no special tools. The bolts are to be hand tightened. My husband is a woodworker and found the quality and construction of the "Flo-Beds Euro Slat Foundation" to be excellent.The outside of the "Flo-Beds Euro Slat Foundation" frame is covered with Flo-beds signature fabric; the frame is lightly padded and is about 6 inches high. Curved slats are grouped in pairs and are spaced over the entire length of the bed. If I remember correctly, each slat is about 2 inches wide; I was unable to lift the mattress to measure the slats. Because we were able to use our sleigh bed and the "Flo-beds Euro Slat Foundation" sat down inside its side-rails, we did not have a problem with the slats being visible.The firmness configuration the "Flo-Beds Euro Slat Foundation" was shipped in has proven comfortable for us. Flo-beds includes six additional braces with which you can customize your foundation's firmness.If you make the decision to purchase a latex mattress from Flo-beds, you should consider adding a "Flo-Beds Euro Slat Foundation," too. It has been a 5-star product for us. Additionally, you will find Flo-beds customer service exemplary; they are extremely helpful, willing to answer innumerable questions; and always prompt in responding.

More than just a pack of rechargeables

We bought the Accu Set for the ROBO TX Training Lab. (For the different Fischertechnik robot sets you can chose between this Accu Set, the older Energy Set, or the brand new Power Set as energy source and hence none is included with any of those sets.) Initially, I thought this battery set is way overpriced considering what AA NiMH cells cost. But I was wrong. This is what you get:- A battery pack containing seven NiMH cells, delivering 8.4V nominal out with a capacity of 1500mAh. The instruction says that the pack has an integrated circuit to protect the battery from short circuiting it which is very useful for kids. The trigger is probably a thermo switch because I was able to get 3A out of the batteries for a short time. The form factor is the same as the little 60x60 cassette which is supplied with so many Fischertechnik sets.- An intelligent charger. This is not your ordinary trickle charger which comes with many battery kits from big blocks. This charger is able to charge the battery pack within two hours regardless of initial charging state. (A trickle charger charges with 10% of capacity and a charge typically takes 14 hours.) The charger has circuitry built-in to protect the battery from over charge and also to extent battery life. The charger itself is heavy and it probably contains a linear power supply. It has an LED indicating charging and full state. The charger is connected via a quiet large plug to the battery pack. Not sure why it is that large. In any way, it cannot be connected wrongly, though it comes with the warning that only adults should charge the battery pack.- As a bonus, you also get a Fischertechnik switch and a 30cm long Fischertechnik low voltage red/green cable which is a nice touch. (That is usually included with the sets.)For curiosity, I tested the pack on our heirloom motors from the 70s. They run a lot faster and more power than on the old 4.5V battery holder. The power supply from the 70s delivered 6.8V nominal and probably more like 8 to 9V under little load and I think those motors might be fine with the almost 9V from the battery pack. Nominal rating is usually noted with 6V on those motors. I also tested the pack with light cubes. The cubes we have were made for operating with 5-6V in combination with various Fischertechnik electric and electronics sets from the 70s and 80s. They light up very brightly and I am not sure whether they might survive for long, though. But they very well might just do fine. Those light cubes from more recent Sounds + Lights Set and those which come with some robot sets are rated for 9V.

FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH IN THE BOTTLE

I love it. This is my 2nd product. And they last for a while. I used it every evening before I go to bed and each time I used it, it polish my skin and reduce the appearance of my wrinkles.
