Wonderful product!

I love this product!I have had two sunrise lamps; both have died when their plastic buttons gave out after 4-5 years of use. I decided to replace that bulky lamp with this product, which uses a regular lamp (I can determine the wattage and have a prettier lamp!), takes up very little bedside table space and costs about 20% less.This is a far better product than the all-in-one sunrise lamp. I appreciate that the backlight can be turned off completely on this unit. The clock has all the features I loved in the bulky lamps: I can vary the time for sunrise and sunset and it includes a security setting for when I am away. Turning on and off the lamp also is far easier with this unit than with the all-in-ones.The only flaw in this clock is in the design of its cords/plugs. The clock was designed in the UK, where large cords are the norm and every plug is grounded. The wires on this are way too big, the plug is three-prong and the weight of the wire and can make the unit somewhat unsteady on a table top. I have mine on the edge of the bedside table, which is perfect for me, allows the wires to hang over and keeps the unit very stable. I am happy to live with this minor drawback -- this is a wonderful product and I am delighted to have found it!

Please use this with a surge protector

Note that this is the same as the "BlueMax Sunrise System Model 100 w/Bulbs" also on Amazon and much cheaper.I have been using this for 3 or 4 years, and I really like it except for a few things. The cord is so bulky it's hard to make it sit flat on a table, and I wish the alarm volume was adjustable.The fatal error, though, is that when our power went out a month or so ago, the volume quit working. That was okay, because I seem to have trained myself to wake up with the light by itself. However, the power went out again last week and fried the display, so now it is unusable. I will replace this clock with another sunrise model, but I recommend plugging it in through a surge protector.

Wish I bought it sooner

Fantastic product - the description doesn't really do it justice. In addition to sunrise simulation, it also simulates sunsets, has a nightlight and reading light mode (fully adjustable dim level), security mode (random light on/off), backup alarm sound, a snooze function, and ability to set different alarm times for each day of the week. Once you get everything plugged in, you can use the snooze button to turn your lamp on/off for normal function. The only drawback, as noted by other reviewers, is that the power cord is a little short. Good sight but has an issue.

Meprolight makes good quality night sights. The pair I purchased for my Glock 21 installed very easily and illuminated brightly in dark conditions.The only issue I have with them is the front sight is substantially taller than the original factory sight. So much so, that the gun would no longer fit into it's holster. You can purchase holsters that will fit the Meprolight sights. Blackhawk holsters are supposed to fit.The question is, "Do you mind having a much taller front sight?" Some users say that a taller front sight enables you to acquire your target faster. Others say that taller front sights may create an unnecessary snag risk when drawing from holster.This is a tough call for me. Had I known about the taller front sight issue, I would have probably looked for another brand. Others like tru-glow (also sold on Amazon) do not have this problem.I hope this review helps you to make an informed decision. :-)

They fit great and work perfectly. Best sights for glock

I have them on a G20 and a G17. They are in my opinion the best night sights.... or any sights for that matter...made for Glock. Buy them, install them, be happy. Shoot More. Adjustments are precise and tactile. Installation is easy and instructions are simple and clear. Adjustable sights make you and your firearm more accurate. Night sights are a great accessory to increase the value and low light usability of any firearm. This product combines both. A great upgrade from factory sights for target shooting

I bought this product because I was having less than stellar accuracy with factory Glock night sights. (Take tis with grain of salt I am by no means a good shot) The gain was huge. This was for a Glock 23. I went from groups of 3 feet at 75 feet to 6". At the time this was normally my CCW gun. The sights installed easy, VERY little fitting required on rear sight. The front is a screw so no-brainer there. The dots are bright and well lit (far cry from the 12 year old previous trijicon sights). The rear helps the sight radius a tic since it comes back all the way to rear of the slide and is near flush giving a fuzz more sight radius. Now for the front sight. Good and bad. This thing is tall. near twice the height of a factory tactical night sight on smaller/shorter gun may look a little odd to some VS a longer version like a 17-22,34-35 ect. For me aesthetics was not as important as the gain in accuracy. Now for using the gun for CCW. My holster is iwb and has mag pouch on front side and is soft not kydex. What I did notice is the new front sight with added height and sharper rear edges has tendency to drag horribly on the holster. Also having the mag pouch on the front side with mag in allows the front sight to push past so when pulling the gun the front sight will catch on the bulge inside the holster from the magazine. This is only an issue with the way I ccw and my selection in holster/mag pouch. I only bring it up because it was non-issue prior to sight change. The rear sight has nice smooth radiuses and does not dig in to you if you do conceal carry. Over all I am very pleased with the purcahse. The product is nice and well made which is no suprise since meprolight is know for having quality products.
