5Good quality piece
By BH
First, let me say I purchased this the week before thanksgiving at a cost of $165 (on Amazon). Almost $200 cheaper than anyplace else (and $500 cheaper than some). I purchased the Cherry version, and as I write this one the black version is available at Overstock.com for a similar price. So, check around before ordering this at $350+. Even Amazon tends to have it listed at multiple prices.I think the only piece of furniture I've purchased over $250 dollars are my sofas and mattresses. I usually buy modular furniture available at local stores or easily shipped. I live in the city and moving things into an apartment generally preclude buying expensive solid furniture. I have purchased and assembled all manner of modular bookshelves, computer desks, etc. and I will say that the quality of this piece is near the top of what I have seen. So, at the normal price of $370 I probably would not have considered this - but that is more an aversion to pay such a high sum rather than the quality of this piece. It was packaged well and arrived promptly with no damage (and the Pilot shipping company was only 30 minutes late of their "window"). Installation was relatively easy with some common sense to make up for some subtle nuances in the diagram. I would say under an hour to unbox, lay out, and assemble. Wood seems durable with a good staining job with very few visible blemishes. Glass seems sturdy and unlikely to be damaged based on unit design. The shelves are very roomy and able to accommodate fairly large pieces of AV equipment.I also called Bush before I ordered to check on some measurements and also because I wanted to confirm something during my assembly. They were helpful and courteous both times.Based on this I would buy another product from them - of course I'd look for a good price first!A few notes:1) This can NOT be assembled to be shorter/fewer shelves. There are metal reinforcing poles running up the wood that are assembled from two halves. Each one has characteristics necessary for construction and unless you wanted to machine the rods don't think of trying to make it a shorter unit.2) Instructions state to glue small wooden dowels into the side wood separators and then to glue them to their neighboring one. I opted not to glue them to their neighbors and simply to glue them to a single piece. Although this is only a small amount of wood glue (on a small surface area), I didn't want to make this difficult to disassemble, especially with the glass shelves in between. There seems to be no loss in structural integrity without the glue on both ends - and I would recommend you follow what I did should you think you may ever disassemble (for moving).3) Top shelf is not fully attached to the unit. Whereas the other shelves are sandwiched in between the layers, the top shelf is actually only secured to the back piece with pressure screws (with rubberized tips to not damage the glass - nice touch). The top front corners rest on suction cups. The weight of the shelf seems to make this fairly solid, and I think it would take a pretty brute intentional push dislodge this. You should probably be a bit careful not to handle it by the top shelf when moving the unit, but otherwise I think that it is secured enough to hold equipment.4) Assembly tip - especially with one person. Don't screw together the metal rods until you get the second shelf on. Having 4 foot long metal rods wavering around makes it hard to get them through the holes. If you keep them short it's much easier.5) Amazon seems to state that maximum weight on the top shelf is 25 lbs. The manual seems to indicate that each shelf can hold 50 lbs. As the structural integrity of the top shelf seems no different (in terms of support) than the others, I would say that 50 is fine. My guess would be that any concerns with heavy stuff up top is if someone little pulled it down on them.

5Bush Audio Tower
By David M. Hollingsworth
I bought this particular audio tower to match the Bush TV stand I previously purchased. After watching the price for a few weeks, it finally dropped to about $250 with shipping, so I bought it. The audio tower was easy to assemble, maybe taking about an hour or so to put together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The audio tower looks great, especially sitting next to the TV stand, and it's sturdy. There's plenty of room for my extra components too, relieving the overload on my TV stand. If you have a need for an audio rack, you'll like this one.

5Simply Beautiful - A Great Addition to the Home
By Gale
A little time consumming to put together, I suggest you lay all the parts out on a table, to easily identify the parts. When you open the package you can see the immediate quality! Had the deliver of the package open the package to check for damage, none was found and the two who delivered the tower were extremely impressed as I was to the quality of Bush Furniture. Once I put everything together it looked simply great! It not only helped organize the items I placed on the tower but enhanced the room with its beauty and cable management. Will look at other Bush Furniture in the Future. The Rosebud Cherry is a must have!

4Xerox Phaser 8860 Solid Ink - Black
By G. Nelson
Would have rated this product a 5 if it was not so expensive. This was the best price I could find. The price for all of the other Phaser 8860 are 50% - 70% less. I find it difficult to believe that this ink could not also be 50% - 70% lower in cost. Since black is the highest usage ink, it seems that the manufacturer is taking advantage of the situation and ripping everybody off!

5Consider solid ink price in context
By George N. Lawrence
Yes, a retail price of about $286 for what is actually six sticks of black crayon does seem absurd.Of course, you do not want to pay the retail price. At the date of this review, you can get genuine Xerox ink for roughly $200 a box if you search for the best price. Why so costly?Xerox's business model is to sell the printer at a very low price (given the quality and complexity of the machine) and then make their money by selling expensive ink. Under some Xerox programs they will actually give you a Xerox solid ink printer if you sign a contract to buy ink directly from Xerox. You will need to use genuine Xerox ink to maintain your warranty. I recommend the extended warranty. My one brief experiment with third party ink (on an old model 850) was that it produced inferior results. The price break (third party blank ink costs about 30% less) was not worth jeopardizing my warranty and the loss of quality. When the total cost of machine plus Xerox ink is figured over the machine lifetime, the Xerox 8860 is a great bargain. A full set of my company's technical manuals has nearly one thousand color images on black background. Our customers love the color pictures, but we use a LOT of ink. We can only afford to print these on the Xerox solid ink printers. Laser printers would cost many times more and are slow. The net 8860 lifetime cost is the best for a high end color printer, both black and colors are strong, the machines work reliably, and the speed is excellent. Xerox printer support people are the very best.Yes, those black crayons are really expensive; but I do buy the genuine Xerox ink after first searching for the best price.
