Good quality at the price

This is a nice-looking unit, in a modern minimalist way. It's possibly a little difficult to tell from the photographs, but the steel frame has a nice semigloss enamel covering. With reasonable care, it doesn't look like the finish will nick off.It comes well-packed in a single carton, weighing nearly 100 pounds. All parts are embedded in custom-molded polystyrene foam. Be aware that you'll have a LOT of foam to discard. Once you wrestle the box into your domicile, individual parts are light. A small-framed person might wish to have a helper for the three glass shelves. Assembly instructions are simple and reasonably clear. Anyone with the slightest bit of mechanical aptitude should be able to put this stand together in under an hour. While quite solid mechanically, I did have one bolt that didn't grip its specified hole. There doesn't appear to be any warping. Instead, I believe the hole wasn't quite properly tapped. There's enough redundant support that I'm not going to worry about it.One small complaint. The framework is comprised of hollow steel pieces. Depending on your listening levels and choice of listening material, there's some chance that this frame could resonate slightly. The very best frames would fill those areas with bags of sand or some other damping material. This is a minor problem at worst.

Great Product!

I think that this product is outstanding for the price. The steel frame has a high quality high gloss finish, and the glass shelves are tinted and coated on the bottom side. On the back there are wire troughs provided to hide wires. The front feet of the stand are adjustable for leveling.Assembly went very well, as all parts were present, and mounting holes were accurate. The fasteners to assemble the stand require an Allen type wrench (supplied, but using it is painfully slow,) so I cut the end of the supplied Allen wrench off and installed it in my cordless screwdriver with a chuck to quickly install the bolts. Final tightening was done by hand with another wrench of the same size. This reduced the assembly time greatly. Assembly was quite easy. It took as long to unpack the stand as to assemble it. The stand was packed very well for shipping and arrived in perfect condition.When looking at the different Bush model stands, take note that there are a few different models that provide different lengths of the same type of stand to provide exactly what you need. Even though stands are rated for (up to) a certain size TV, they are not all the same length. I purchased this model of stand because I only had enough room for a 48" length stand for the location that I had available.I'm very impressed with the quality of this stand and ease of assembly, so gave it a 5 star rating. Amazon did an excellent job with shipping this item very quickly.

Very nice unit

Bought this unit in conjunction with the Samsung HLT6187SAX 61" 1080p DLP. The TV fits perfectly on it and looks very good. The unit is very sturdy and stable and was relatively easy to assemble. All in all, I am happy with the purchase.

CUSTOMER SERVICE NO SHOW

Bought this recently, setup was super easy, looks very good, nice finish. That is the Pro's. The Con's are: 1) No specifications on how much weight the shelves will support, no specifications on the height between shelves, and no help from customer service on any of this, 2) The TV support arm leans with the weight of my plasma, not only forward but also to one side, stable who knows, although once situated I plan on anchoring it to the walls, 3) repeated emails to customer service go unanswered, I mean absolutely no response, not to my questions or to my requests for parts. This is a very good looking unit, fits my decor just right, but the lack of Bush's customer service support has soured me on buying anything more from them.

Good but not perfect

Just got this Bush Furniture TV stand. Using it with a 50" Panasonic Viera. I definitely recommend 2 people available to assemble. I actually got it put together by myself but it took some real sweat and a few tense moments.The black color is very good looking but it will definitely be difficult to keep clean (especially with a dog in the house). The only complaints are that the mounting bracket is very hard to level (side to side) and it leans forward with the weight of the TV (probably no more than 10 degrees or so but it is noticeable). This actually works well when seated but could be an annoyance if you are standing around while watching the TV. The manufacturer needs to either but in a little more reinforcement for the metal arm or put in some sort of adjustments to let you level the TV once mounted. Their are slots on the bracket but these don't allow for very fine adjustment.You should also take care to see how the mounting bracket aligns with your TV. I didn't and only barely had room to fit the power cord into the back of the unit. Dumb mistake but would have been a major hassle to take the TV back off and move the bracket around if the power cord hadn't squeezed into place.The instructions were quite good and I was QUITE PLEASED to see that the manufacturer actually took the time to put all of the various pieces in individually labeled zip bags. I've had experiences before where I had to guess what type of screw/bolt/oddbit was what. No such problem here.

Easy on the eye

I bought this unit for my Samsung LNT4661f LCD tv that I purchased after Christmas. The delivery was right on schedule, delivered by UPS. A word of caution- this box is HEAVY. UPS driver left on my front porch and I had to wrestle it into the house. I was somewhat intimidated by all the parts when I opened the box in preparation for assembling the unit and the assembly 'instructions' are graphics only- no written directions. But the pieces were very well labeled and once I got the hang of the graphics, the assembly went well. Be aware that you'll need at least 2 people to help with the assembly of this unit. The parts include various sizes of bolts that are commonly used by tv manufacturers- you'll only need one size so you'll have plenty of bolts left over for your bolt collection in your tool box. I got the unit successfully assembled and the tv hung. It looks great. A nice way to display my new LCD tv. Another point to be aware of- since the shelves are tempered glass, the manufacturer recommends no more than 25# per shelf. Bottom line is that I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I saved about $50 over what the unit would have cost me from a local merchant.
