Product Description

The Casio EWC-110 underwater housing is designed for the Casio Exilim EX-V8 digital camera and provides access to all of the camera functions. In the housing the camera is fully operational underwater and can be submerged to a depth of 130'. The camera in the housing is also ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on the ski slopes.

The housing allows underwater photos to be taken using the built-in flash of the camera. However, an external strobe is recommended to improve the images by reducing the illumination of particles suspended in the water. Slaved external strobes like those made by Sea & Sea, Ikelite, Sealife or Fantasea can be used to provide proper lighting.

AWESOME Waterproof case for the Casio EX-V8!

My new favorite toy! QUALITY construction! All camera controls can be operated through the case. I actually like the feel of the external controls on the camera case better than the actual buttons on the camera!If you were considering buying a plastic bag to protect your EX-V8, DON'T! This is DEFINITELY the case you want instead.This case will protect your camera as deep as 130 ft under water! MUCH deeper than I need, but it is nice to know that my camera is safe when I want to go out on the river, to the beach or in the pool.And, if I ever DO decide to go scuba diving, I'm all set! Even the flash works right through the case!I especially like the fact that the case has a standard tripod screw centered at the bottom of the case. (The camera's screw hole is centered below the lens)You can take perfect dry pictures on land too. It does a SUPER job of protecting the camera. The lens stays clean in the case, and no dust can get in, and the crystal clear plastic shell of the case over the lens is much easier to keep clean than the camera lens itself.
