Beautiful, functional, and fabulous!

I just received this yesterday and put it together right away (took about 30-40 minutes). Directions are a little convoluted but it's easy enough (I'm not the most mechanically inclined, but I have done my fair share of Ikea builds). Be patient and meticulous with those directions! The chest is gorgeous! I love it. We obviously haven't had it long to enough to put it to the wear-and-tear test, but it definitely seems durable. And my daughter loves it already!

We have had this bench for three years, and it's in amazing shape. Washes with clorox wipes and/or magic eraser. Doesn't dent, scratch, sag or break and we have a very active three year old who loves it! We are buying another for our baby now. It holds a decent amount of toys, has holes in the side in case of getting trapped (not sure how that would happen but it's always listed as a feature!) :) and the hinge in the lid is slow enough that no fingers get pinched (there is also a small gap between lid and top of box - small enough that you might pinch YOUR fingers, but your kids won't). Overall this is very well made, good quality wood and the decorations/paint/details have withstood quite a bit. Highly recommend!!
