On Target

This is an awesome grip. However I got the polymer grip which was cheaper in stead of the rubber grip. Since I put it on a small caliber gun (38 Special) the polymer grip will work just fine but is not as comfortable as the original rubber grip that Taurus put on it. If you are putting this grip on a larger caliber gun such as a 44 magnum or .45 I would suggest getting the rubber grip for a little more money so that the gun stays in your hand when you fire it. I really enjoy this Crimson Trace grip and if you have never owned one I suggest you get one as soon as possible.

Perfect

I purchased this lasergrip for my wife's revolver. I wanted her to be able to practice with both eyes open so she could also practice situation awareness and marksmanship. It only took about 6-7 rounds to sight this in perfectly at 25 yards on a bright day. She started making successful and consistent quarter groupings. She loves her little .38 Taurus now.

I own two other sets of laser grips and they were perfect in every way, but this set, for whatever reason, was a little warped and required some patience and block sanding to get them to fit reasonably well. I got these for a good price and now know why. After some rework they fit pretty darn good, and I'm sure this doesn't happen too often so I still give them 4 stars.As far as usage goes, they are a good substitute for open pistol sights, especially if your eyes are as old as mine. With my glasses on, the open sights are nothing but a blur these days, so the bright red laser dot on the target is a big plus.
