It would be nice if there were a little tighter tolerances with the shims but they work. It is much easier to go with a kit like this than mess around with pulling the shims, going to a dealer and getting them one at a time. I ended up ordering a restocking kit for the range that I use the most of so that I had enough. When you have a V4 bike with 4 valves per cylinder, there are not enough shims to complete the job if you have a few cylinders in the same range. After borrowing this kit a couple times from fellow bikers, I broke down and bought my own kit.

If you own a high performance 4 stroke this kit is magic

my Exhaust side on my yz250f was .15 using a caliper and feeler guages i was able to use this kit with no problems. Now i'm at .18 and .20 well within spec. This is one of the most important maintenance items you can do on a 4 stroke other then change the oil. Shipping was quick and the procedure of shiming is not that hard other then taking the Cams out which is no biggie. this kit has it all no trips to the dealer and within 3-4 shim jobs this kit is putting money in your pocket. dealer shims run almost 10$ for a shim the size of hearing aide battery

This shim kit is perfect for It has every size I will ever need for my bike when servicing it. You cant beat the price either. Local dealer sells them for $120 so if you need a kit this is the place to get it!!!
