I've been waiting a year to review this floodlight so that I could get a pretty good feel for it, and here's what I've found:* Installation was a breeze, as the casing fits round, square, octagonal, recessed and surface boxes, and the unit is pre-wired and pre-assembled on a CU4 universal EZ plate. The unit is die-cast aluminum; the casing is watertight, and the finish has shown no signs of dulling.* Using the Photoelectric Control that deactivates lights during daylight, I have yet to change the bulbs since I installed the unit in December 2009. The lights cast pretty far and wide.* The owner's manual says that the unit has "temperature compensation" -- I have no clue what that means, but I can tell you this: the motion sensor has three really cool blinking LEDs! The motion detection senses 180° out + 360° down (total coverage). The sensitivity can be adjusted down to 30%, in case a tree with flappy leaves is in your sensing range. The unit comes with lens masks just in case you need to block its view of something that may routinely set off the lights, like... say, a windmill over there next to your petunias.* The units can be wired in parallel so that if a bad guy shows up in the dark, he will suddenly be met with what will no doubt resemble the international space station.I haven't had a lot of luck with flood lights. Prior to the RAB, I had two other models in the same location. One fried with moisture getting into the unit, and the other -- a halogen -- kept exploding, even though I inserted the bulb with a "dry, lint-free cloth." Both were purchased from big-box scores. As for the RAB Super Stealth, I couldn't be happier and I recommend this product without reservation. In fact, we're moving to a new house, and as soon as we close, I'm buying 4 of these to replace the ones that are currently installed.

I own two of the RAB STL360H on each of my properties and couldn't be happier with the performance and reliability of these units. This truly has walk away settings that allow me to sleep comfortably whether at home or on vacation. The sensitivity and range are so accurate that it can pick up even the smallest two or four legged critters! I've battled with similar box store offerings and in this case you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this product.

I have 2 of these units. They are a little expensive, so I put 1 up to try it a year ago and liked it so much I purchased another and put it up last week. I have installed quite a few motion lights for myself and relatives, and these are the most reliable and effective hands down. They come with a heck of a warranty and they work exactly as advertised. My wife now wants our sconce lights on the front of our garage to be motion activated, so I will be wiring this sensor in minus the flood lights to work the sconce lights. It's not very often that I have this much appreciation for a product, but this is one that's worth talking about.
