The Underwater Kinetics C8 ELed Plus starts with a unique dual power electronic circuit to control the matched pair of 5-watt white LEDs. Bright Night Light

I used this light for about 6 months in the Caribbean. I only have positive things to say about it. The two intensity settings are useful for conserving battery power. It's rugged and it's bright. No leaks. There are some newer contenders out there that will outshine this one (on paper and in the wallet), but I haven't tried 'em yet. Still, this light has been dependable for me AND for the fair-weathered dive buddies I've lent it to. So it's gonna to stay with me for now.

Living 15min from a coral reef you just have to scuba!! This means getting all of the gear, a kit that is not complete without lights.The E-Led has a nice beam, bright, with a pleasant color balance. We also have the UK HID Light Cannon that while notably brighter, is also quite a bit more blue. The E-LED is a lot easier on the batteries, no trouble with a series of dives.Build quality is great, seals are robust with no hint of a leak during more than a few dives with the light.A great product!

Great light but switch fails

This is an outstanding light unfortunately the switch is poorly designed and prone to failure. UK has a very good customer service and will repair or replace it WHEN it fails, mine failed on a wreck dive, had to use my backup. I can not recomend this light until it is redesigned with a better switch.
