Love these boots!

I work construction and I'm on my feet for 8 to 10 hours a day, so I need a good comfortable boot with good support. This is my second pair of Chippewas and with both pairs I found they were comfortable from the first day, very little break in. My first pair after two years of daily use are still in good usable shape but need to have a hole in the toe repaired, so I bought these and I'll keep the others as back-up.

These boots are great. Very comfortable, waterproof, made in USA, resoleable. I was tired of disposable shoes/boots and wanted something that was made in America and could be repaired. The leather is extremely soft.

I do a lot of field surveys/walking over rough terrain and am usually pretty cautious about wearing a new pair of boots right out of the box without having broken them in first. This wasn't a problem with the Chippewa - fit like a glove, and incredibly comfortable. Sidenote: I tend to wear a bit thicker wool blend sock and always use Obenauf's "heavy duty LP" to keep the leather in good condition. All in all, a VERY well made/constructed boot and glad to see that this boot and some of their other product line by Justin are now being "Made in the U.S.A."
