Pricey but well worth it

I own most of CTK's products. They are extremely well machined and sturdy. They put a lot of thought into their designs. The monopod is no exception. Mounts readily to any rifle with a rear swing swivel. Folded up it doesn't interfer; it's also quickly detachable (yet secure when mounted). It pops quickly when you want to use and is adjustable.

When I started Benchrest competition I had decided that I had to create some sort of adjustable rest for the butt of my rifle. It was that or by a sled, which cost a lot more. Than I found the CTK Ultimate Monopod and tried it. It is excellent! The course action is of course, course! But the fine adjustment allows me to accurately aim the rifle (with bipod on front) sufficiently to zero in a 1/4" target at 50 yds. Rock steady, and very smooth threaded operation. This is a very well made piece, and is flawless as far as I can tell. Attaching and detaching only requires loosening the wheel pulling back to release the clip, and it just slides off the sling mount. I highly recommend it.

This monopod works perfect. Easy adjustment, lightweight. Perfect for my gun.. Screws in where the stock strap would normally go Love it got it delivered in a short amount of time.
