I work from home part of the time and needed a desk that would support a bigger monitor (32") than my hutch desk would allow. It's a nice looking desk, was fairly easy to assemble, however, my husband decided that the feet weren't big enough so he used some larger ones. If you do this, drill the holes a little deeper in the bottom of the legs or you'll split the wood. He also used his electric drill. It saved on the hands a lot. A few things you should know. No hole in the top of the desk for cords to go through, so now the monitor cord, power cord, speaker cords and my calculator cord all have to run down the back. It works for me because that side of the desk is against the wall. However, through a hole in the top and then the hole on the inside of the CPU cabinet would have looked cleaner. Now you see cords on the floor. Also, there's really not enough room for my mouse on the keyboard drawer. I do a lot of drag and drop and there's just not enough room for that so I had to put the mouse on the top of the desk. The last thing is there was no room for my power supply in the CPU cabinet so that also has to be on the floor. I don't have a slimline computer but I don't think that would make a difference. Most towers are just as deep as mine. All in all, it's a good value and I would purchase it again.
