Birmingham Executive Hutch for Lateral File

Purchased 2 of these hutches to use atop speaker cabinets to house my collectible in our family room. They matched the cherry color of the base cabinets and with a little modification to the width, fit perfectly. The look is complete.Well worth the money; easy to assemble (I did this alone, except for sawing/modifiying the width).

Sure it's made of particle board in China!!! What isn't in today's market? Sure it has wood grain vinyl overlaid onto the particle board! But HEY, it's $100, it weighs a ton, it goes together well, it's sturdy as heck, AND IT LOOKS GREAT!!! This is very nicely done and it matches the lateral file cabinet perfectly!The parts all fit together perfectly with just the right amount of fasteners. I always add some glue to the holes where the fasteners go to harden and strengthen the wood in the area because particle board doesn't lend itself well to screws. In this case, I'm not sure it was really necessary.As you can tell, I am very pleased with my purchase and I have a piece of furniture I know will last for quite some time.

I love this hutch. It's durable and made very well...also has withstood a few drink spills with no problem at all for cleanup.
