Excellent string for my bass

Finally the G string I was looking for. I have used Evah Pirazzi Weich for some time, but the sound is too quite and the G string was not that nice. I have switched to Tomastik Spirocore Medium, the sound of EAD is fine much more powerful that the EP, but the G string was really unbearable. Powerful, but too thin and with an ugly metallic sound, more similar to a fretless electric than a double bass. Eudoxa is just perfect, the real G string sound that you expect, powerful , full and fat. Also bowing is excellent. I think I am going to try also the D string soon. The only minor point, is that the string require some time to stay in tune. I have use Eudoxas on my Cello. After a week or two they are ok. The sound on the cello is excellent too, but the attack is too slow. It's good for baroque music though.
