Great Relaxer

I just wanted to take the time to write a review on this product. I still have to use this relaxer a few more times before I can call it my favorite, but so far so good. I did the whole transition to natural thing for about two years. For different reasons, I decided that I wanted a relaxer (my choice!). I wanted my hair bone straight but after a while, I decided to "texlax" it by just keeping it on my hair for under the time recommended (I had course, thick kinky hair and I kept it on for time time recommended for fine/normal hair using regular strength). Alright so all in all, it did the job. The whole relaxer process seemed to keep my hair in a somewhat safe condition (regardless everyone knows if you use any relaxer your hair is going to be somewhat damaged from the process). I enjoyed using the scalp protector--I didn't feel any burns at all during the relaxer process. I did not use the hair protector because it has been a minute since I previously relaxed my hair. I do plan on using it next time I relax. The relaxer itself did not take long at all to process my hair. I tested a small section of my hair to see if it made it straight...which it did so if you are looking for a relaxer to do that well it did. When I use to relax, I use to do shampoo/condition. This particular relaxer calls for conditioning with a normalizing or neutralizing conditioner and then using a neutralizing shampoo. While I was nervous about doing this, I went ahead and followed their directions and my hair came out alright. No hairs falling out or anything. Finally I used the microfusion oil treatment and after rinsing it out, it left my hair nice and soft, though not as soft as a deep conditioner but it was alright to me. All in all, I would recommend this product to a friend and definitely use again.
