Fun to build

Probably a bit much for someone under 10, but a great kit for anyone older and interested in these models. Once built, you need to be somewhat careful with the model - it is not designed to be abused.

Whether you're a fan of the Armored Core series or just like to build models like this, this product is a good buy. The design and details of this model are almost, if not exactly like the actual built; you will be very pleased with how it looks when you finish it. All of the steps are shown in full, easy detail, and connecting the pieces together is the easy part; not one single drop of glue was needed for this model. There is a hard part to this though, as this isn't really your "kids" kind of model, a few of the pieces in this particular model are extremely small, and almost all of the pieces are hard to get out, without a few of the small ends still attached to them and your fingers a little bruised. I recommend for perfect cut outs of the pieces, to use a small pair of hardware pliers to snip the ends off. Once the model is complete, the joints can be moved and shifted for different stances of the model, but it is not recommended, that you use this model as a toy, it is meant to be a placed somewhere as a sort of decoration on your desk or stand. So if you're a big fan of Armored Core, or giant, fighting mechas, and/or like to build models like these, then definitely get this. I can also assure you that if you like the Armored Core series and this is your first model; you will most likely want to get another one to go with your first model. Be sure to look at all of the other models they have to offer, but I recommend this model, it looks so cool when it is finished.
