My new coat

I wanted a coat like I had in the Air Force and this one is very close.I am 65 years old and the cold weather gets to me a lot more than when I was young.This coat will keep me warm and the hood is big enough that the wind will not hit me in the face.

vintage n-3b parka

The jacket is nice and warm even when you are covered head to toe with snow. I found that when in a blizzard you tend to get covered, do to the insulating value of jacket. The only problem i have is that the heavy duty zipper sometimes get cought.

My husband and I recently took a trip to Anchorage Alaska. While there, the weather was as low as 10 degrees. And, since we were staying on the base, we spent a lot of time either walking or riding shuttles. The whole time, we were perfectly comfortable, in spite of the fact that we spent a lot of time outside, in the weather.
