I bought a gallon because I saw that my Pediatrician used it in each of his exam rooms. I loved the smell and knew if he used it, it must be effective. There may be cheaper stuff out there but I think if you are washing your hands several times per hour all day long you need something that won't dry the skin on your hands. It's good stuff.

I have been using aloe guard for many years. It is the best for not being overly drying but still giving great protection from germs.
