Microflex rotary shaver review

This shaver is great - the quality of the shave is outstanding. The only thing that I don't like is that the head is very hard to remove for its once-a-week cleaning.

Irritating, literally!

After I was unable to find replacement blades for a cheap old Izumi electric I had, I bought this razor. I really wish I wouldn't have. This razor gives me such horrible razor burn on my neck that I skip shaving most days just to avoid it. I'm not talking just a little redness here, but actual welts. I have used electric razors for decades and have never experienced anything like this.The heads also don't seem to flex very much, so it is uncomfortable to use too. I would have been better off if I kept on using the years old blades on my previous razor. The price may have been right, but unfortunately I got what I paid for.

Very tight head assembly

The razor shaves as well as any electric razor that I have used, and I prefer corded razors since I have no need for cordless operation, particularly where the batteries always give out in time. The head assembly is very difficult to remove; and when it does finally pop loose, the whisker powder that has accumulated inside tends to explode on my clothes and all over the sink. Otherwise, the razor is a good value for the money if you can live with the problematic head assembly.Remington R-200 Microflex 200 Corded Shaving System
