Looks great and easy to install. Easy to set codes for each family member allowing keyless entry. If you have any issues you can view video's at Schlage's website for installation and programming of the electronic lock. I will say that I did not buy from Amazon, I purchased from BuySchlageNow.com and saved $77.00 from the price that Amazon charges, plus I ordered other Dead bolts and BuySchlageNow keyed all the locks the same for free and shipping was also lightning fast and free.I am a big purchaser from Amazon and they are usually very competitive on price but in this case the price of 277.00 is a 38% premium over BuySchlageNow.com's price of 200.00?

I'm not sure if any of you will make the same mistake as I made, but just in case.... I always assumed that once you punch in the numbers, the bolt will automatically extend or shut. There is a section where they ask you to test it after you install it. I was scratching my head for a good 30 minutes as I was "testing" it, waiting like an idiot for the mechanism to spring. I took it apart several times to look at the electronics thinking I got a faulty one. LOL! So there you go! Now you won't make the same mistake as I did. After punching in a code, you still have to manually turn the thumbturn to lock or unlock. Which is a good thing now that I think about it because your battery will last longer. Not only that, not all homes have perfectly aligned doors. Sometimes you have to pull the door tight in order for the deadbolt to pass. So in these instances, an automatic springer would not be ideal. When they say it's easy, they're not taking into account the current deadbolt and handle-set that you have to remove in your house. I have one of those Baldwin one piece plates that covers from deadbolt to knob. This Schlage kit comes in two sections, so you can see the ugly paint indentation of the former plate. I'll have to touch it up with paint. They also say don't use a power drill, all you need is a regular screw driver. Well, I find the power drill is much easier. Not only that this whole set lengthwise is longer due to the extra space between the two sections. You're going to have to screw in the very bottom of the plymouth outer handle. So I had to make good use of dremel to drill a new hole.Lastly, it was a pain in the you know what to screw in the knob since the screws were so close to the knob. The angle is very strange and you'll be doing a little damage to the screws as you tighten it because you're force to tighten it at an angle. I have one of those electric screwdrivers that can bend like an elbow and even that didn't help. The thing that worked was a very very very long screwdriver. So when they say it's easy and all you need is a screwdriver, that's not true for everyone. These are the tools I had to use to complete this task, and luckily I had them all:1. A screw driver that had a star for a head to remove the Baldwin set I had. The knob could only be removed with this. I believe they're technically called Torx or Pentalobe screwdrivers.2. The bottom of the outer plymouth handle has a very large screw. My power drill didn't have a large enough bit to drill an adequate hole for this screw, so I had to use my dremel to hollow out the hole to make it big enough.3. An extension cord for the dremel.4. Hard to explain, but a very extra long screw driver to screw in the knob. You'll see what I mean when you get there.5. Now if you're in my shoes and your current set doesn't match up with this kit lengthwise and you have to drill a new bottom hole.. REMEMBER THIS!!! Cover your old hole first!! I installed everything and realize the former hole is exposed. I wanted to cover with bolt and nut, but the outer handle was in the way, so I had to take it down. So take into consideration your old hole. Fill it up first with drywall puddy, or a nut and bolt like I did. Remember this hole goes all the way through the door. If you use nut and bolt, you'll need the proper thickness to cover the hole and proper length so it doesn't protrude from inside your home too much.Anyway.. wow! Having said all that, I give this product a 5 star. It works perfectly but for the price, I thought the quality could be better. I compared my old Baldwin knob to this knob and it blows it away in quality. The Baldwin knob is very heavy brass. This schlage knob is very light and hollow compared to it. I tried to use my Baldwin knob, but it wasn't compatible. But I'm very happy with not having to use keys, that I don't really care. I'm giving it 5 stars!
