I Do Like It

I am pleased overall with this Cubby Storage Unit. It is perfect in my foyer where I had planned to put it. Solid wood throughout and it is stable. However, there is a very strong smell to it like other reviewers have stated. That is the reason for the four stars. I am hoping the smell will dissipate but I would not recommend putting it in a bedroom or closet right away. It may need several weeks to air out first. The product is not defective or anything. It just has been treated to withstand the outdoor weather. The one situation where I would not recommend it at all is if you are very sensitive to the smell of chemicals.

I am very pleased with this shelving unit. I used it to help separate the toys in my little boys room. It helped organize his train set pieces from his hot wheels cars and play tools. It also functions as a night stand where I place his lamp and various photos on top. It's sturdy and looks better than the picture indicates.

Great, all wood and DOESN'T smell

This is perfect in my pantry t o hold the kids backpacks and winter gloves/hats/lunch boxes. Pretty easy to put together too. I saw a lot of reviews that said it smells like chemicals, but that was not the case for me. All I can think is it is made of cedar, which has a pleasant odor to me. Also, it doesn't have a shiny finish so you could easily paint it any color you would like.Anywa, it keeps the clutter out of my closet so I love it!
