does the job

What can I say, sadly I bought a used old Toshiba HD-DVD which sort of lost its will to playback via HDMI. I did all the updates and everything and yet no luck. I do have a ton of HD titles and that is why I still to keep this around. This player is simple and it works.Mind you that I already have a Pioneer HD94 Elite bluray. When I bought both formats at the beginning, it was a gamble and I spent less on HD-DVD. Now it seems with the demised of HDDVD, the discs themselves are cheaper than normal DVD's. U can get HDDVD of movies for less than 15Bucks

This is a cool HD DVD player.But it don't play movies in 1080p. So I play it at720p and the movies still look good. Also I know that they don't make HD DVD any more.So you can still buy them online and also they are cheap now! But maybe they might make them again.
