Great tools

I bought this set for a young man who is starting training as an electrician.There are many cheaper tools. Several people asked me why I paid so much.The answer is simple: safety.Plus, real quality. The steel is USA made, hardened and carbon tipped. The handles are rubber with strong insulation and there is a "electrity indicator" at the tip of the handle so you can see if you have a live line. The set has almoost everything to get you started and it is of excellent quality.I lost my favorite cousin to an electric shock. He was only 21. I want to make sure this kid is protected and with these tools, I can feel good about it. They are top notch.

these are fine tools but are not insultated!!!Insulated electrical tools are very expensive and are fully insulated!! with just a tip exposed so dont be mis informed

You can't find too much to beat this set at the price, and Klein makes a top quality tool and only has two real rivals, Greenlee and Ideal. To anyone getting into the electrical trade, don't be scared off of greenlee brand tools like one of the reviews said, they make an outstanding product and for anyone who is not an electrician to comment on any of these tools is worthless, they aren't meant for around the house odd jobs. You can't go wrong with this set though, it will do the job twice over. ALSO IGNORE THE PEOPLE WHO CALL THESE INSULATED, you will know but the orange shell around any insulated tools, and when you buy anything of this caliber it will say right on the handles not insulated, though saying that, any good electrician will know the difference right away and if they use these when they should be using insulated they are knowingly taking a risk.
