By Mic
Got this saw a few months back and it's great. Fit and finish are top shelf and the blade guard and riving knife are just amazing. I use the guard most of the time - it's easy to use and doesn't get in the way for most cuts. When you need to get it out of there for dados or very thin rips, it comes off easily. Power is very good - I've cut 8/4 ash with no problems with a full curf blade. Dust collection is pretty good and the blade guard keeps what does come off the front of the saw out of your face. The fence glides easily and locks down firm. I got it when it was on sale and there was a rebate so the price was very nice for so much saw. This is one to check out if you're in the market.

First of all I have had this saw a little over a year now. It still is impressive in just how well it works. I am a stickler for accuracy and when the saw is properly set up it will deliver fine cuts which makes my projects fit the way they should, square and tight. I love this fence because the sight glass has two lines that are separated by about 1/8 which helps to eliminate parallax for some extremely accurate cuts. I can consistently make a 2" rip in hard rock maple that is within plus or minus 0.005" and most of the time is better than that. Riving knife is a must and performs well. A 3HP motor is a must, from my perspective, and it is nice to have the power available when you need it. I am using 1/8" kerf blades and the motor has no problems which is nice! I, personally, do not like thin kerf blades....get a real blade ;>).I am not a brand loyal type of guy and there are Jet products that I will pass on but his table saw is good value and works extremely well. Good job guys!
