Not as pictured

We ordered this buggy expecting it to be as pictured royal blue with electric blue. However we received a stroller that is BLACK with purple inside. The packaging describes it as Deep Purple. Just FYI if color matters to you.

Wonderful Stroller

This stroller is high quality and high class! What a dream to use as it floats easily along even rugged terrain. My two week old daughter slept soundly on our first two mile walk with it today on rugged terrain. Giving it 4 stars because for $500 a cup holder for tea or coffee would have been nice.

Nice and steady

The fabric feels cottony, and I didn't expect it to feel so smooth since the description was nylon. It doesn't matter though, because I was afraid that the nylon would be scratchy. The way the fabric actually is, is actually quite good. The ride is smooth as the air-filled tires and suspension really help over those bumps and cracks. The one thing I'm not a fan of is how if you raise the back of the stroller, all this extra fabric gathers around the baby's head, and although he doesn't fuss, he has a look of mild annoyance on his face until I push it out of his face. We had a Chicco Cortina, but that thing's not for big babies (ours has consistently been in the 95-99th percentile for height and weight), and this one nicely accommodates. We then tried the Britax B-agile, and that thing has NO suspension, and our baby bounced along with each bump and crack (yes, even the tiny, teeny ones), and I'm just talking about trying the thing out at home over the carpet and around obstacles we set up in the basement. We were going to try one more and my husband was leaning towards the BOB, but I really wanted something prettier. When we got this, it was on the condition that if the Mountain Buggy did not perform, we would get the BOB, no more experimentation. So, while this doesn't have the 2 suspension systems like the BOB, it nonetheless gives a smooth ride, and our baby has fallen asleep more than once in this thing. In the end, everyone is happy. Well, until the next time I have to adjust the back of the seat.
