This pool table cover is indeed heavy-duty. It is made from a thick, brown, backed "naugahide" (vinyl) that has an aged leather look. It is fitted (like a fitted sheet), so that the pool table's top and sides are protected. The side curtain measures 7-1/2" high. The seams are double-stitched and reinforced. It should be spill-proof (unless you're spilling battery acid!) and cat-proof (so long as your cat isn't a tiger!), and will add longevity to your table's finish and extend your cloth life. Measuring the outside of your pool table, this will fit up to 109" x 60".

This product does what it says

I have a cat, and I was afraid that she was going to tear my new pool table with her claws. I bought this cover to prevent any damage to my pool table and it works. The cover is well made, and thick enough to prevent any claws to damage it. Very easy to remove and apply.
