massive aditional traction

these screws really add a whole lot of traction, I recomend you get the longest screw that won't exceed the amount of rubber above the cord base of your tire.Install at low RPM and stop as soon as the head of the screw head touches the tire. If you spin the screw further it will not have good holding power in the tire. Plan on lining your trailer's wood bed as these WILL tear it up. I wood rate these at 3x the traction of V bar chains when installed at the rate of 3 screws spaced evenly in each bar/lug of tread. they remove easaly and seam to cause no damage to the tire.when you install them the next year simply move the spacing around a little. Expect that some will be lost with use. try to keep your wheel spin to a minamum for best life. They also work great on slipery logs. use caution during high fire danger as they will produce sparks and could start a fire.
