Nice, but how the heck do you get the staff in her hand??

As per my title, I think this is a nice figure, good paint and all, but the only thing that makes me give her a lower rating is the difficulty in getting the staff in her right fist. Her right fish has the hole for putting the staff in but there is no way to get the staff in! First, the thumb is so close to the other fingers and the resin so hard that it's impossible to move the thumb enough to wrench the staff in. Second, upon a close inspection of the staff, and the hole in her fist, the staff is a tinsy bit too big to even fit! I've seen other figures where you can actually pull the staff apart, insert it into the hole in the character's fist, then put the end back on the staff, but you can't do that with this one. At least it doesn't seem to want to come apart for me and I don't want to pull on it anymore in case it actually breaks. I have given up on trying to put the staff in the fist, so I just lay the staff down beside her, which sucks, because to me, why create a staff for the figure to hold and make the fist with a hole to hold it if the staff will NOT fit??? Other than that, it is still nice. The only other thing I would nit pick on is the face. While the paint is good, it is not as good of a likeness to her as it could have been...
