Wonderful white noise for our child

We have used this sound machine for almost three years and it works wonderfully. It is in my daughter's bedroom and is used during her nap and all night. The sounds are soothing and have a nice range of choices. We are going to buy another one for our second child.

We've has this sound machine for about a month now. Prior to this, we had a homedics model that promply died and was returned to Bed Bath and Beyond.This Life Sounds model seems to be going strong. I like that it has a couple of sound options, including a lullaby mode, but we usually just use the white noise in our baby's room. It does seem to help him sleep, whereas before any household noise seemed to disturb him. This machine is marketted towards children, but would of course be great for any adult as well.I like that this sound maching is relatively portable. I think it will fit into my suitcase just fine when we travel! I do wish that it had a clock on it, and it would also be nice if it were a bit more attractive as well.

I love this item!!! Yesterday was the first time we put it in our boys' room and it worked wonders. I have a 3 year old and a 10 month old who share a room. The "surf" and "brook" sounds are perfect for blocking out each other's sounds. They napped in the same room at the same time (which has never happened before as one would sniffle and disturb the other) for 2 1/2 hours. That alone is worth the money. This product is also made in the USA while EVERY other sound machine I contemplated comes from China.Well worth every penny!
